Right of Withdrawal (Herroepingsrecht)

This Right of Withdrawal notice applies to consumers in the European Union purchasing from Scandiglobe.
Scandiglobe is operated by Witteveen E-commerce LLC, a company registered in the United States. We ship to customers in Germany, the Netherlands, and other European Union countries where this right applies.
This notice applies to orders placed through https://scandiglobe.com.
Nothing in this notice limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
1. Your Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier) receives the goods.
For orders containing multiple items delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins from the day you receive the last item in your order.
Our commercial return window of 30 days is more generous than the statutory 14-day withdrawal period. If our 30-day return window gives you more time than the statutory minimum, the more favourable window applies.
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the withdrawal period expires.

You may use the Model Withdrawal Form provided in Section 7 of this notice, but it is not obligatory. Any clear written statement expressing your decision to withdraw is sufficient.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification before the withdrawal period has expired.
3. Return of Goods
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 days of the date on which you notified us.

Please do not send any items back before receiving approval and return instructions from us. To start a return, use our Returns Portal or email info@scandiglobe.com.
You are responsible for ensuring the goods are securely packaged to prevent damage during return shipping. We recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage.
4. Return Shipping Costs
For withdrawals where the item is not faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or not as described, the direct cost of returning the goods is your responsibility.
We do not provide prepaid or free return labels for withdrawal returns.
Where applicable law requires us to cover or reimburse return shipping costs — for example, where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or not as described — we will do so after the issue has been reviewed and confirmed.
5. Effects of Withdrawal — Refund
Once we receive your returned goods and have inspected them, we will reimburse all payments received from you for the returned item, including the original standard delivery costs where applicable.
We will process the reimbursement within 14 days of the day we receive the returned goods back, or the day you provide evidence of having returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
We will issue the reimbursement using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Deduction for diminished value: If the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may make a reasonable deduction from the reimbursement to reflect any reduction in value, where permitted by applicable law.
Since Scandiglobe offers free standard shipping on all orders, no standard outbound shipping fee is normally charged at checkout and no outbound shipping fee is normally included in the reimbursement. Any additional costs for express, premium, or upgraded delivery options are not reimbursable unless required by law.
6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods that have been installed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery, beyond what is necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics, and function
- Goods that are not in a condition suitable for resale
- Goods missing essential parts, accessories, or components
- Custom-made or personalised goods, unless faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or not as described
- Any other categories excluded by applicable law
These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or not as described.

8. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, Incomplete, or Not-as-Described Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or not as described, your rights are not limited to the withdrawal right. You may also have statutory rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund under applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Two-Year Warranty
