Are ScandiGlobe wall lights dimmable?
Some of them are. Our tricolor models let you change both the brightness and the colour of the light, from warm to cool white. Other models give a fixed warm white 3000K light and are not dimmable. Each product page shows exactly which applies to that model.
Will it work with my existing wiring?
Yes. Each wall light connects to a standard wall light point, the same wiring as any regular wall light. The voltage of each model is listed on its product page. If you're not comfortable working with mains wiring, have a qualified electrician fit it.
How high should a wall light be mounted?
As a guide, mount wall lights around 150–170 cm above the floor, roughly at eye level, so the light falls softly without glare. Above a mirror, centre the light over the mirror. Next to a bed, around 60–80 cm above the mattress works well.
Which size should I choose?
Choose a length that suits what's around it. Above a mirror, pick a light about as wide as the mirror or slightly narrower. On an open wall, in a hallway or along the stairs, 60–80 cm gives a subtle line of light, while 100–120 cm makes more of a statement.
What colour is the light?
That depends on the model. Tricolor models switch between warm, neutral and cool white. Other models give a fixed warm white 3000K light, a calm, cosy tone for hallways and bedrooms. The light colour of each model is listed on its product page.
Where do wall lights work best?
In hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and along staircases, where they add soft light at eye level without taking up floor or table space. Above a mirror they give even, glare-free light.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping is free on every order. Orders are shipped with tracked DHL where available, with processing within 0–1 business days, Monday to Saturday.
What does the warranty cover?
Every ScandiGlobe light carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, LED failure and remote malfunction. If something stops working under normal use within two years, we send a free replacement with no shipping costs. Just email us your order number and a short description.
Can I return it if it's not right?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. For change-of-mind returns the light should be unused, not installed and, where possible, in its original packaging, and return shipping is arranged and paid by you. If anything arrives faulty or damaged, we'll put it right. Just email our support team and we aim to reply within 48 hours.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
Our wall lights are made for indoor use. In a bathroom, fit them in a dry zone away from direct water contact, in line with standard indoor lighting guidance. They are not designed for outdoor use.
